Who we are

Coastal is truly unique in one very special way. We have been owned and operated by the same family for over 60 years of our 70 plus year history.

In 1942, Coastal Transport was founded with one terminal located in Corpus Christi, Texas. Today our Corporate Headquarters are located in San Antonio, Texas and our system has grown to over 700 team members. We operate out of 28 facilities spread across Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. Our fleet consists of over 400 tractors and tank trailers.

We expect the highest degree of professionalism from our personnel and accomplish this through a priority emphasis on customer service, driver training and a committed focus on safety.

The Coastal safety record is one of the best among all tank truck carriers. That’s why we consider ourselves a “truck of a different color.”
